Returns
Last updated: 04 September 2026
We want you to love your piece. Because so much of what we sell is one-off, vintage or restored, please read the descriptions and photographs carefully and ask us anything before you buy — we're always glad to send extra images or detail.
Your 14-day right to cancel
If you are a consumer buying online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (and equivalent EU consumer rights) — no reason needed. To start a return, email karin@eklectable.co.uk with your order number within that period.
Returning your item
- You have 14 days from telling us to send the item back.
- Items must be returned in the same condition you received them, ideally in their original packaging.
- The cost of return carriage is the buyer's responsibility, unless the item is faulty or not as described.
- For furniture and large pieces, please contact us first — we'll help arrange a suitable courier, the cost of which is the buyer's responsibility for change-of-mind returns.
Refunds
Once we receive the item back (or proof of return), we'll refund you within 14 days, to your original payment method. We may reduce the refund if the item's value has been diminished by handling beyond what's needed to inspect it.
Faulty or misdescribed items
Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected. If your item arrives damaged, faulty or materially different from its description, contact us within a reasonable time (and within 48 hours for transit damage, keeping the packaging). We'll arrange a repair, replacement or full refund including return carriage, as appropriate.
Items that can't be returned
- Bespoke, commissioned or made-to-order pieces (including custom restoration and upholstery).
- Reservation deposits, which are non-refundable as set out in our Terms.
- Workshop bookings, which follow the cancellation terms provided at booking.
The normal expected signs of age, wear and patina on vintage and restored items are part of their character and are not considered faults.
How to start a return
Email karin@eklectable.co.uk with your order number and a brief note. We'll guide you through the next steps and, for larger pieces, help coordinate collection.
